Every tenant deserves to live with dignity in a legal unit

This is the mission statement of the 75 Ann Street Residents’ Association. Founded out of a need to respond to the crisis of illegal, windowless units, the Association is intended to provide support for every tenant at 75 Ann and Centurion’s other London Properties as they assert their right to enjoy their units.

The Association can provide support in three key areas:

  1. Networking and solidarity. Many of us face the same challenges. Join the association, come to meetings, and meet others in your position. Understand how they’ve approached your shared problem and what you can do about them together.

  2. Information. While the Association cannot provide legal advice (most lawyers can afford windows!), this website and the Association’s membership can provide you with information about tenancies, advice about where/how to find legal representation, and links to useful resources on the web.

  3. Personal support. If you need someone to talk to, or to attend a meeting with management or a hearing at the Landlord and Tenant Board with you, the Association will do its best to help. Housing issues are stressful. Nobody should have to go through them alone.

We are stronger together.

The Association is an organization of like-minded individuals all looking to improve life at 75 Ann and respond collectively to collective problems. We sincerely believe that together we can advocate for solutions that will make all of our lives more comfortable.

There is no cost to join the Association, and you don’t have to join to receive assistance.

Please contact us to join the mailing list and to attend a meeting. We would be happy to have you—and all of your fellow residents will be better off for it.
